Causes :

Diaper rash is unpleasant, painful but common skin rash on your baby’s bottom especially in infants. It thrives in warm, moist environments and the rash may cause the skin to be scaly, bumpy and red. These rashes can look like red splotches on your baby’s bottom, or red scales in the genital area.

It can be caused by a variety of things, Moisture, friction, soiled diapers, yeast infection are many of a few reasons for common diaper rash including skin infection, and allergies. The most common reason for diaper rash is diaper’s prolonged wetness so keep the diaper area clean and dry. most babies will develop diaper rash at some point, Diaper rash is extremely common, and luckily it’s fairly easy to treat.

you can help prevent it by selecting good soft ,wetness indicator and comfortable diaper. Basically diapers cause diaper rash, it’s that simple? But many of us have a myth that wipes cause a rash. but the diaper alone itself is not the cause, it is all of the above. Having a diaper rash is a normal part of being a baby. There are many ways you can limit the amount of rash.

Myths :

No diaper – It causes rash : Clean your baby’s diaper area well at each diaper change. Remember to pat her skin dry don’t rub.Let the diaper area air-dry fully before putting on a fresh diaper. No wipes – It causes rash : It’s a big myth diaper Rashes are caused due to using wipes but always choose alcohol, fragrance free wipes for babies. The fact is unchanged diapers over a long time causes rashes.

Most babies will suffer from diaper rash at some time. Diaper rash can lead to changes in eating habits, sleep patterns and restless behavior. Not the list all rash on baby bump are not diaper rash. Please consider checking your doctor if needed.
